About Me

Welcome to my humble little blog about walking in the Scottish hills. It basically serves as a reminder to me about where I've been, because I can never remember these things.

I have been an avid hillwalker for over 20 years and to date I have walked 81 Munros and many smaller Scottish hills, although I still have
many hills left to walk. I work full time as a teacher of Design and Technology and currently reside just outside Glasgow, Scotland with my wife and 4 daughters.

My aim is simple, to communicate the wonder and experiences of walking outdoors, this blog is a mixture of hill, long distance walks and walks for wee legs. I hope it may inspire people to get out and try some of these walks.

All the reviews on this site are my opinion only. I have not been paid to give these reviews, and they are based on my experience with the products when out on the hills.

I hope this blog serves as a useful source of information on different walks available in Scotland. Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me on what you would like me to post about.
